Vishal has been associated with BCCC since April 2012.
An alumnus of St. Xavier’s College (Ranchi) and Indian Institute of Mass Communication (New Delhi), he has wide experience of working with various leading television channels in different capacities.
Vishal began his career with Sahara Samay, the Hindi news channel of Sahara Group in 2000. After working briefly with Aaj Tak, he moved on to CNN-IBN and was part of the channel's launch team. In 2007, he joined News X as Executive Producer and Head of Assignment and was instrumental in setting up the channel’s various bureaus under the guidance of Industry stalwart Peter Mukherjea.
Vishal is an avid movie watcher and likes to read a lot. He assists the Council in addressing complaints and dealing with other content-related matters.
